Deepika, Katrina or Sonam - Who will bag Madhur’s next?

Madhur is in a fix as to whom to choose among Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and Sonam Kapoor for ‘Marr Jaanwaa’

Madhur Bhandarkar is in a state of confusion these days. The confusion arises from the decision that he has to make with regards to choosing the leading lady of his upcoming venture – ‘Marr Jaanwaa’.

Madhur is in a fix as to whom to choose among Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and Sonam Kapoor. From what we have heard, ‘Marr Jaanwaa’ is going to be a musical entertainer.  This will be a change for the director who usually takes up realistic hard hitting issues.

2013 has been a great year for Deepika as well as Sonam – both have given hits this year. Deepika is already shown her range as an actress in her last few movies while Sonam's ‘Raanjhanaa’ too grabbed eyeballs.

A source close to Madhur revealed - "The film has been designed as a musical entertainer and its treatment will be very different from the dark zone that Madhur's films traditionally explore. In fact it would be more on the lines of a Basu Chatterjee or a Hrishikesh Mukherjee film.

The male lead also has yet to be finalized in the coming months. ‘Marr Jaanwaa’ is slated to go on floors next year.
