SRK, Lata Mangeshkar Offer Financial Support To Kapil Sharma

Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan and singing sensation Lata Mangeshkar are the ones who have recently offered financial support to Kapil Sharma

Recently, a heavy fire took down the sets of the comedy show ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’. Reportedly, the fire is said to have caused a loss to the tunes of Rs 20 crores to the makers of the show.

Since then, B-town’s big wigs have come forward in support of the standup comedian, offering him financial support as well. Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan and singing sensation Lata Mangeshkar are the ones who have recently offered financial support to Kapil Sharma.

Kapil Sharma confirmed the news. He said - “I got a call from Lataji and she asked if I need any kind of help, whether monetary or anything. Her call was a big thing. Also Shahrukh Khan, Rohit Shetty and lot of people from the industry called me and said ‘hum tumhare saath hai, batao kitne din mein set khada karna hai’. I am truly overwhelmed. The industry is like a family.”

‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ is a comedy show that airs on Colors TV channel and is hosted by comedian Kapil Sharma along with supporting characters, while also interacting with members in the audience and permanent guest Navjot Singh Siddhu.

Kapil’s show has been an instant hit with the audiences, with the show returning high TRP’s since its inception.
