landed a role in Shekhar Kapur’s directorial venture ‘Paani’

Fresh from the success of ‘Kai Po Che’ and ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’,
Sushant has landed a role in Shekhar Kapur’s directorial venture
‘Paani’.
Ace director, Shekhar Kapur, commented - "Sushant is one of the most inspiring young actors to emerge out of India. It's going to be an exciting director-actor collaboration with him on 'Paani'”.
The
film is to be produced by Aditya Chopra with A.R. Rahman doing the
musical score. The remaining casting is expected to include a Western female lead and a mixed Asian and Western supporting talent.
Kapur
gave ‘Paani’ an international launch at Cannes in 2010 in order to
attract overseas investors and co-producers on board the $30 million
plus project.
‘Paani’ is slated to go on floor mid-2014.
