"Grand Masti" was never expected to put box office on fire and was expected to do a maximum business of 50-60 cr nett lifetime number. But film took a fantastic start at box office followed by super solid weekdays.
Film kept going on and on riding on exceptional word of mouth and collected 48 cr nett over weekend. If that was not enough, film further recorded 3rd best Monday of 2013 and steady weekdays in next three days.
Film collected 7.75 cr nett on Monday followed by 7.35 cr nett on Tuesday and 6.40 cr nett on Wednesday. Film should collect 5.75-6 cr nett on Thursday as per early trends. Film has collected 67.50 cr nett plus in 7 days and this is outstanding.
Now 2nd week and especially weekend is very crucial if film has to touch 100 cr nett lifetime. Going by tomorrows advance, film should at least target 20-25 cr nett week two which will take it close to 90 cr nett and then 3rd week will be a golden chance as there is no major release scheduled. Fingers crossed!
