Karan Johar’s 100 Crore Deal With Anil Thadani

Karan Johar has given Thadani the all-India theatrical rights to his next four releases

 

Karan Johar has taken the friendship with his childhood friend film distributor Anil Thadani to another level altogether. The hit director has given Thadani the all-India theatrical rights to his next four releases, ‘Gori Tere Pyar Mein’, ‘Humpty Dumpty Sharma’, ‘Ungli’ and Emraan Hashmi’s yet untitled film.

An industry insider revealed, "The deal struck is to the tune of Rs 100 crore. Anil and Karan were casually discussing the four forthcoming movies by Karan's company and within minutes, they both had struck the deal. It was a mutual decision. Even the money was not debated much."

Earlier, KJo has given much of his work to UTV, which has been effectively distributed by team UTV. UTV personnel has not given their response to this sudden deal between Karan and Anil.
