Production house of the film, chaired by Ekta Kapoor, have decided to implement a stringent payment system for their daily wage workers
As per the news, David Dhawan’s budget for ‘Main Tera Hero’, starring his son Varun Dhawan, has gone up by 15-20% due to the recent fall in rupee.
David
Dhawan has said - “If needed, you can always save a couple of days by
working hard and wrapping up the shoot quickly. But these things are
hard to control.”
To combat the sudden recession, the production house of the film, chaired by Ekta Kapoor, have decided to implement a stringent payment system
for their daily wage workers, which spells out that they will now be
paid only for the number of days worked, and not the holidays.
A close source revealed - “After the team returned from their schedules
in Bangalore and Ooty, they were told about their next Bangkok
schedule. They were informed that on the days they wouldn’t shoot, they
wouldn’t be paid.”
‘Main Tera Hero’ is slated to release on April 4, 2014. It is a remake of the 2011 Telugu blockbuster ‘Kandireega’, starring Ram Pothineni, Hansika Motwani and Aksha Pardasany in the lead roles.
