being a part of Golamaal 3, Kareena was keen on working with Rohit
Shetty again. Rohit was planning to cast Kareena along with Ajay Devgn
in ‘Singham’ sequel.
However, now the director has opted to cast new girl from South opposite Ajay Devgn in ‘Singham’ sequel.
A
source close to the development says, “Rohit had offered Kareena
‘Singham 2’ even before ‘Chennai Express’ released. Kareena too was keen
to do the film...”
According
to reports, Rohit felt that the role is too small for an established
actress like Kareena. He discussed this with the producers, Reliance
Entertainment, who also agreed to his view.
Singham was a 2011 hit film starring Ajay Devgn and Kajal Aggarwal. The sequel is expected to go on floors early next year.
