Akshay Kumar starrer"Boss" opened on Bakri-Eid festival with 2,750 screens across the country and faced almost nil competition at box office. The film has achieved tremendous response at box office.

The film kick started at a very good note in single screens and managed to maintain it throughout the day. The film recorded close to 90% occupancy across single screens.Multiplexes saw average to good response at box office but good word-of-mouth should ensure good numbers in next few days.

The film is garnering better numbers in mass centers like CI, CP, UP and North. The South and East territories are relatively average at box office.

The film collected 14.25 cr nett at box office on day one. Word-of-mouth seems to be positive overall but the film’s performance today will be decide the fate of the film.
