''Dum Laga Ke Haisha'' released with limited expectations as it had no pre release buzz and Ayushmann Khurrana who failed couple of times. But this film proved to be a surprise hit at box office as it managed to cross 25 cr nett despite such a niche appeal and non glamorous content. 


Film collected very good 6.20 cr nett plus over weekend and then it went on to collect 10.67 cr nett in week one which was too good. Film added 10 cr nett in 2nd week and will collect 27 cr nett lifetime which is a terrific number. Film has distributor share of 13 cr.


Film will maximum earn 12 cr more from other ancillary rights. Film has total income around of 25 cr and that against the total cost of 15 cr. Film has earned profit of 10 cr and that is a big profit of 66% plus over investment.
