Continuing with its aggressiveBollywood foray, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL’s) content engine,Essel Vision, has signed Himesh Reshammiya for the first time in a film titled Heeriye. The multi-talented musicianturned actor-producer Himesh will be playing the film’s lead. This film is alsothe first ever collaboration between Essel Vision and Himesh’s HR Musik. Thefilm, Heeriye is a social, romanticand sensitive drama set in Kanpur with a mesmerizing soundtrack.
The film marks debut of the film-criticVishal Mishra as a writer-director. "It’s a pleasure to have India's oneof the biggest media houses backing my first film. Heeriye is a very unique love story weaved in the current socialscenario. I am very excited and looking forward to it." says directorVishal Mishra. The film also features Tigmanshu Dhulia in a pivotal role.Heeriye promises to create music that is soulful and melodious.
