MR X Had Poor Day Two
Bollywood films have disappointed and no big films made impact in last 6 months except ''PK''. This year not a single mainstream masala Bollywood film worked and now even mass entertainer Emraan Hashmi failed to break the jinx.
''Mr X'' opened to bad numbers of 10% and that was below expectations as it was supposed to open around 25%. Film was not expected to grow much as bad reviews poured in. Film was so poor that even mass centers like Indore, Surat and Kanpur were less than 15%. Film struggled from there and writing was on the wall.
Film collected 4.50 cr nett on day one which is extremely poor and now even growth over weekend can take it to close to 12-13 cr nett somewhat similar to what we predicted. Even on day two, film continued to struggle and collected 4.10 cr nett.
Film has total of 8.60 cr nett in two days and now film is heading for 15 cr nett which is rather disappointing total. Film will fall on weekdays and it will struggle to reach even 28-30 cr nett which was business of flop ''Raja Natwarlal''.
