Uday Singh Rajput, a Madhya Pradesh based scriptwriter, has accused that the makers of ‘Krrish 3' have violated copyrights. Rajput claims that he wrote the script for the movie but wasn’t given credit for it

Uday Singh Rajput, a Madhya Pradesh based scriptwriter, has accused that the makers of ‘Krrish 3′ have violated copyrights. Rajput claims that he wrote the script for the movie but wasn’t given credit for it. He has claimed that the entire credit was wrongly given to Robin Bhatt.

The petitioner has come forward and even claimed that he had registered his script titled ‘Krrish 2’ with the Film Writers Association on July 23, 2008. Later on, he met Roshan and gave him the script, for which he was not given any payment, even after the script was used.

On the whole issue, Advocate Rekha Mehta, commented - “We wrote to Roshan and demanded he give us due credit, but there was no positive response from their side. Thus we moved the high court seeking a compensation of Rs 2 crore and as interim relief, sought an injunction on the release of the film, scheduled to be released on November 1.”

Roshan’s company has also filed a suit asking that the release of the film not be interrupted.
