However, since the producer’s other film, Imtiaz Ali’s "Highway", will also be ready for release at around the same time, the makers have decided to push the release date of "Heropanti" ahead.
"Heropanti" will now release on May 16th 2014, which also happens to be the last week of IPL 7.
“We have now decided to release Highway on February 21 2014 and consequently our other film "Heropanti" will now release May 16, 2014,” Nadiadwala said in a statement.
Directed by Sabbir Khan, who last directed Akshay Kumar in "Kambakkht Ishq", "Heropanti" also stars Kriti Sanon.
