As per news coming in, the gifted
actor, Irrfan Khan, is going to play a Sikh for the very first time in a
film. Irrfan was recently seen playing a middle-aged Catholic man named
Saajan Fernandes in Ritesh Batra’s ‘The Lunchbox’.
Titled ‘Qissa’, the film reportedly revolves around the India-Pakistan Partition Saga.
Confirming the news, Khan revealed that playing a Sikh was quite difficult for him as he has never spoken Punjabi in his life.
Khan further added that maintaining the look wasn’t an easy task either as he was not used to wearing a turban and it was quite difficult for him to wear it all day because of the shoot.
Khan would be seen playing the role of a Sikh, who wishes for a son and thus, brings up his fourth daughter as a boy.
