Tabu Roped In For Vishal Bhardwaj’s 'HAIDER'?

The team of Tabu and Vishal Bhardwaj which worked together in ‘Maqbool’ a decade back, is making a comeback in Vishal’s upcoming ‘Haider’

 

The team of Tabu and Vishal Bhardwaj which worked together in ‘Maqbool’ a decade back, is making a comeback in Vishal’s upcoming ‘Haider’. A source close to the film revealed: “Tabu was his first choice for the role and Vishal has been trying to cast her for a long time and it is finally working out.”

Reportedly, The Indian adaptation of Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’ will be set in Kashmir. Vishal Bhardwaj has revealed that Tabu’s role in ‘Haider’ is of a strong willed woman.

As per sources, Tabu wouldn’t be enacting Queen Macbeth, however, her role as a strong-willed woman will be of utmost significance for taking the story to the next level.

Vishal’s dream project would hit the floors by the end of this year.
