SHUDDH DESI ROMANCE Drops On Tuesday But Still A Big Hit For YRF

"Shuddh Desi Romance" surpassed over weekend with full dominance of biggie "Zanjeer". Film got acceptance among target audience and now film is set to become a profitable venture for YRF.

Film collected good 23 cr nett plus over weekend and added further solid 4.79 cr nett on Monday followed by 2.85 cr nett on Tuesday taking 5 day total to close to 31 cr nett. Though Tuesday drop was not that good for the film but still good weekend helped the film. Film will finish with 36 cr nett week one total.

Film will hold back good number of screens in week two and that means good 2nd week onwards biz can take it close to 45 cr nett figure which will be very good result for the film which was made on budget of 23 cr. Worldwide share of 30 cr guaranteed and that means theatrical biz will only take the film to plus.

Film will add 10 cr from satellite and other rights will further add 2 cr and that means film will make at least 20 cr profit for makers which is almost 100% return over budget.
