"Shuddh Desi Romance" released without much noise but fresh cast, hit music and realistic portrayal of today''s love relations made it hit with young movie going crowd. Film is a clean hit.
Film was affected badly in 2nd week due to onslaught of "Grand Masti" but film collected close to 5.75 cr nett in 2nd weekend
and added further 77 laks on 2nd Monday followed by 85 lakhs on
Tuesday, 78 lakhs on Wednesday and 72 lakhs on Thursday. Film collected 8
cr nett plus in 2nd week.
Film collected 1.45 cr nett over 3rd weekend and film has collected 46.50 cr nett plus in 17 days. Film will finish with 47.50 - 48 cr nett lifetime total which is fantastic total and exactly similar to what we predicted before the release of the film.
Film will add 10 cr from satellite and other rights will further add 2 cr and that means film will make at least 20 cr profit for makers which is almost 100% return over budget.
