Considering the time of release, everyone suggested something patriotic to go with the Republic Day release.
Revealing more about the movie a source says, "When the release date was fixed for January 24, Salim Saab felt the title needed to be more pertinent. ‘Jai Ho’ would pitch Salman as a hero of the masses in a socially relevant theme."
