Seemingly, the romance element has also worked for Parineeti and
Sushant. ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ has collected 27 cr nett plus in 4 days
and the trends suggests that week one should end at 36 cr nett.
Parineeti,
who has several projects in various stages of production, is all
thrilled about the response to ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’. The vivacious
beauty commented - “It has released and people are liking it, the
reviews are good and all the performances and Jaideep (Sahni,
scriptwriter) and Maneesh’s work is being appreciated. When there are a
lot of messages and missed calls on your phone, you like it. So, I am
very happy.”
While
most critics have given a positive response to ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’,
some of them have also given negative reviews to the romantic comedy.
Parineeti however gave a balanced reply to the mixed take of critics.
She said - "Reviews are always mixed, you never have unanimous reviews
of any film. Every critic is a different person and their sensibilities
and tastes are different."
Incidentally,
Parineeti’s cousin sister Priyanka’s film ‘Zanjeer’ which released on
the same day, has been panned by the critics and audience alike.
