In a recent turn of events, an order has been issued to ‘Grand Masti’ makers by the Delhi High Court, stopping them from using the name and banner of ICICI bank after the bank claimed that no prior permission was taken for doing the same.

‘Grand Masti’ is the sequel to the 2004 cult comedy ‘Masti’ starring Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani.

Senior advocate Sanjay Jain, who is on the side of ICICI bank, said the bank and their employees have been depicted in poor light in the film's trailer in a scene when a bank robbery occurs in the film.

Asked about, the senior advocate commented that the bank has its registered trademark and the filmmakers never took any permission from them before using their name and displaying their banner.

One thing is quite sure that ‘Grand Masti’ is a no holds barred film which is going to take adult humor to a new level. The film is all set to release on September 13.
