Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy lose another Karan Johar project

After missing out on several big projects, now the magnificent trio of Shankar –Ehsaan-Loy had to let go off Vinil Mathew's directorial debut ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’

Shankar –Ehsaan-Loy have always shared a great relationship with Karan Johar. The talented trio got their first National Award for KJOs ‘Kal Ho Na Ho.’

They went on to compose music for films produced under the banner including, ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ (2006), ‘Wake Up Sid’ (2009), ‘My Name Is Khan’ (2010) and ‘We Are Family’ (2010).

However, lately things don’t seem to be all rosy between them. After missing out on several big projects, now the magnificent trio of Shankar –Ehsaan-Loy had to let go off Vinil Mathew's directorial debut ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’.

Now, after been ousted from the recent Karan Johar film ‘Student Of The Year’and now from ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’, their association is surely not hunky dory with Karan Johar.

Having said that, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have ‘2 States’, another Dharma Production movie in the pipeline.

On this whole issue, Ehsaan Noorani of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy group commented -“We got very busy with our concerts abroad. Also, Karan had to change the dates of his film according to Parineeti’s schedule. Our dates didn’t work out.”
