Shahid-Sonakshi’s ‘Rambo Rajkumar’ to be renamed?

Shahid Kapoor starrer and Prabhudheva directed film has registered optional titles for 'Rambo Rajkumar'

To avoid any last minute hassle regarding the name of the movie, these days the makers of the films always prefer to register titles of the names of their films.

According to the latest news, Shahid Kapoor starrer and Prabhudheva-directed film have registered optional titles for Rambo Rajkumar. Some of the alternatives they're considering are ‘Macho Rajkumar’, ‘Raja Rajkumar’ and ‘Rowdy Rajkumar’. That’s not all, as they've sent a few more titles for registration.

Does this mean they are having second thoughts regarding the current title or just acquiring rights?

Producer Viki Rajani explains, “There's no copyright issue yet. We registered these titles to give an Indian touch and might use it for a prequel or a sequel. We'll decide on that later. We're keeping our options open, so we're blocking suitable titles for the prequel/sequel," said Rajani.

The film starring Shahid Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and Sonu Sood is expected to release in November.
