“Chennai Express” is maintaining well at box office despite being in 3rd week and solid performance of “Madras Café”. Film is heading for very good 3rd week after very good weekend.
Film was super
strong in evening with good occupancy in down south and west. Film
looks to cross 220 cr nett for sure and even 225-230 cr nett lifetime
looks possible in case next release “Satyagraha” misfires.
As per early estimate, film should collect 1.10 cr nett on Monday taking total collection to 212 cr nett plus which is outstanding. Film will cross 3rd week collection of “3Idiots” (16 cr nett) but will be short of 3rd week figure of “YehJawaani Hai Deewani” (21 cr nett).
