"Chennai Express" has already broken every record possible and now film is earning bonus above it. It seems that film will establish new milestone which will be tough to break in times to come.
Film collected 2.12 cr nett on 3rd Friday which was first big drop but was expected as "Madras Cafe" started with huge critical appreciation which affected its collection to an extent.
Today film started with better occupancy and film grew in evening especially in single screens in territories like Bihar, Tamilnadu, Nizam and Mumbai. Film had decent jump today which means even 3rd week will be of good 16-17 cr nett.
As per early estimates, film should collect 2.80 cr nett today which means film has collected close to 205.47 cr nett. Film will finish with 8.50 cr nett 3rd weekend collection.
Now film is chasing last record on offering which is worldwide gross 391-395 cr of "3 Idiots". Film has a fair chance of beating this one too by end of 3rd week.
