There are chances that yesteryear’s hit pair of Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha may come back together to feature in the sequel of the 2007 hit ‘Welcome’.
Their much-talked about love story has always remained a mystery as both the actors never accepted it in public domain. It is said that their love started on the sets of the film ‘Do Anjaane’.
About
their comeback, director Anees Bazmee revealed - "Bachchan saab has
done almost every role in his life but I can assure you that this one
will be something terrific and special for him. The role will also be
much longer than what Feroz saab essayed. Nadiadwala has bounced it off
Rekhaji too. I have yet to meet both of them, which I plan to do in the next seven-eight days."
Rekha has been offered the role of a wealthy fashionista which she can carry off with ease.
It
would be interesting to see if Amitabh and Rekha actually make an
appearance opposite each other, as their relationship has been filled
with silence off-late.
The sequel is expected to go on floors in a month's time from now.
