Ajay Devgn denies all rumours of his next film, the sequel to ‘Singham’ clashing with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Gabbar’
In a recent interview, Ajay Devgn denied all rumours of his next film, the sequel to ‘Singham’ clashing with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Gabbar’.
Ajay reasoned out saying, “One of us will release our film (on Independence Day 2014). I wouldn’t want two films to release together so that nobody suffers as this is one industry.”
He was a part of the Diwali clash last year
when YRF’s ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ released with his own film, ‘Son of
Sardar’. He is clearly not in favour of the trend of big films snatching
screens from comparatively smaller films.
The 'Singham' actor believes this isn’t a good trend for the industry in the long run. But he is not sure if this problem is going to be eradicated.
However, in case a film wishes to clash, Ajay says he is confident of coming out victorious like he did with ‘Son of Sardar’.
