SRK’ s candid revelation has led the Mangalore home in becoming a tourist attraction

Chennai Express is one of the biggest Bollywood blockbusters! And, anything related to the movie garners lot of curiosity especially when it has some relation to The King Khan.

Shahrukh Khan had recently revealed that he lived and grew up in Mangalore till the age of five with his grandfather Ifthikar Ahmed, who was the chief engineer of the Mangalore Port in the 60s, and even spoke Kannada.

SRK’ s candid revelation has led the Mangalore home in becoming a tourist attraction, with hoards of people vying with each other to see that bungalow.

A security officer at the New Mangalore Port confirms, "Ever since Shah Rukh Khan revealed that his grandfather was the chief engineer of the Mangalore Port and that he too lived here, this house has become famous. I served as a guard there and never imagined that one of the grand kids would become such a huge star…"

As per the reports, the attraction for SRK’s Mangalore home is such that the on-duty guards are facing tough times handling the sudden rise in the tourist activity.

SRK’s revelations have also resulted in an increase in the fan’s activities on Mangalore’s social-networking pages.
