Salman Khan,
who is busy remaking Subhash Ghai’s 1983 hit ‘Hero’, has apparently
agreed to do a cameo in the flick. Salman is reportedly excited about
his debut production and has been trying to do most of the
pre-production work himself.
The project
is going to feature Aditya Pancholi’s son Sooraj and Suniel Shetty’s
daughter Athiya in lead roles. A close source revealed - "Hero will
begin shooting in January 2014. Salman has asked the entire team to get
into a work-mode immediately. The script is being re-worked to suit today's times."
Ghai had recently commented - "Yes, I am very happy that Hero is being remade and Salman Khan and his team will certainly do a good job. The film will be directed by Nikhil Advani and it will go on floors by early 2014."
Meanwhile,
Sooraj's father Aditya Pancholi is all positive about his son’s debut
role. He said - "Yes, by the grace of God everything seems to be getting
back on the right track. We will be starting the film sooner than we thought."
