KRRISH 3 Movie Preview

Film will take super start at box office due to holiday aided week one. Film should do well in mass centers and the big Monday will give the film further push.

Plot:

'Krrish 3' sees Hrithik Roshan take on evil mutants and save the world from destruction in his superhero avatar.

In the first half, Vivek has his own look and his own den, a very modern facility which is visible in the trailer. He then changes himself in the second half. Here, he has extraordinary powers and he doesn’t know why he has them. He is handicapped and is able to cure himself. He is pitted against this world, against human beings and there is reason for this. The mutants are called maanvar — a combination of maanas and jaanwar — and have been created by Kaal through an experiment. Being a superhero, Krrish has to fight these beings with unknown powers.

Cast & Characters:

  • Hrithik Roshan as Krishna Mehra ('Krrish') and Rohit Mehra
  • Priyanka Chopra as Priya Mehra
  • Vivek Oberoi as 'Kaal', the antagonist
  • Kangna Ranaut as Kaya
  • Arif Zakaria as Nuclear Scientist
  • Shaurya Chauhan as the female antagonist
  • Archana Puran Singh as Priya's boss
  • Rekha as Sonia Mehra (special appearance)
  • Vrajesh Hirjee
  • Nazia Shaikh as Cheetahwoman
  • Sameer Ali Khan as Antman

Music:

Overall, this album disappoints because of the heavy-handed treatment and dusty arrangements and fails to add any value to the superhero flick. 'Raghupati Raghav' is a standout of sorts and is most likely to be the only one that can be mildly remembered.

Rating:
2/5

Boss Movie Preview

Film will take super start at box office due to holiday aided 5 day weekend. Film should do well in mass centers and the big Monday will decide the fate of the film.

Director:

Starring:
Anthony D Souza

Akshay Kumar, Ronit Roy, Shiv Pandit, Aditi Rao Hydari

Plot:

Veteran actor Danny Denzongpa is all set to enthrall the audiences with his larger than life persona in Anthony D Souza's ‘Boss’. Akshay Kumar plays the BOSS in the film and Danny would be playing the role of BIG BOSS which bears uncanny similarities to the popular Robin Hood persona! Usually, we have seen Danny playing negative characters, but for this film his role is quite different and will be have a positive person who extends his generous hand for the good of the society.

Film is apparently a remake of Malayalam movie "Pokkiri Raja" starring Mammotty, Prithviraj and Shriya Saran.

Cast & Characters:

  • Akshay Kumar as Boss
  • Mithun Chakraborty as Satyakant Shastri
  • Shiv Pandit as Shiv
  • Ronit Roy as Ayushman Mathur
  • Aditi Rao Hydari as Ankita
  • Danny Denzongpa
  • Johnny Lever as Zorawar
  • Parikshit Sahni
  • Sonakshi Sinha
  • Prabhudeva in a Special Appearance in song "Hum Na Tode"
  • Honey Singh in a Special Appearance in song "Party All Night"

Music:

The album is above average as far as musical value is concerned.
"Boss (title song)" is the standout song of the album followed by "Party All Night" and "Har Kisi Ko". The album soars as long as the composers stick to their natural strengths and fails as soon as they get too ambitious with "Hum Na Tode" and "Pitah Se Hai Naam Tera". This is a multi-composer album (in keeping with the latest trend) that offers good variety and a few genuinely good dance numbers. Overall, a safe bet for party lovers.

Rating:
3/5

Predictions:

Critical Response

Film will receive good to average reviews as such high on massy content films do not go down very well with critics. Nevertheless such films depend heavily on word of mouth and entertainment quotient.

Average Critic Ratings Predicted
2.5/5

Final Verdict:

Film will take super start at box office due to holiday aided 5 day weekend. Film should do well in mass centers and the big Monday will decide the fate of the film. But as of now, film looks like a very bright prospect for Akshay Kumar who is ready to stamp his authority once again at box office after not so great 2013.

This looks to do some mammoth business at box office!

Music:

The album is above average as far as musical value is concerned but arrogant enough to dish out weary tunes from a bygone century and expect applause. It hasn’t helped the makers create any sort of buzz for the film and hence failed on that account. However, "Love ki Ghanti","Tu Hai" and "Besharam" stand out from the rest of the tracks and are most likely to appeal you the most.

Rating:
2.5/5

Music:

The album, on the face of it, is an equitable mix of emotional, romantic as well as groovy tracks and yet Pritam manages to deliver a set of tunes that fail to invoke any sort of empathy or even a real sense of hooplah either. Tu Mere Agal Bagal hai is the stand out song of this album by a long distance and benefits immensely from the carefree crooning of Mika.

Shuddh Desi Romance Movie Preview

Film will take slow start at box office but should improve owing to good word of mouth. Sushant Singh made the mark earlier this year with debut film "Kai Po Che"

Plot:

"Shuddh Desi Romance" is a fresh rom-com about the hair-raising minefield between love, attraction and commitment. The movie is based in today’s modern yet desi heartland. Sushant Singh Rajput plays the role of a casual “Boy-next-door” Raghu and Parineeti Chopra plays the bold role of Gayatri – his lover. Vaani Kapoor portrays the role of a girl named Tara, who is also a lover of Raghu.

Cast & Characters:

Raghu (Sushant Singh Rajput), a tourist guide in Jaipur, wants a love in his life, and that's it. The rest he's going to figure out along the way.

Gayatri (Parineeti Chopra), a part-time instructor in an English speaking institute, has been around the block a few times and knows the scene, warts and all.

Tara (Vaani Kapoor), who's dying to get out there and fly, knows what's right for her, but a little experimenting never hurt anybody, did it?

Music:

Sachin-Jigar have indeed lived up to expectations and have delivered as per the demand of the makers with fresh tunes, classy musical arrangements that is the hallmark of their hold over music. The songs are already in the charts and will go a long way in ensuring that the film opens reasonably

"Tere Mere Beech Mein" is amazingly sung by Sunidhi and Mohit, "Chanchal Ati Random" and "Gulabi" are melodious and "Mujhe Kiss Kar Sakte Ho" has that naughty feel of the film. Title song is good but never rises beyond a level. Other remixes fit the bill.

Rating:
3.5/5

Predictions:

Critical Response

Film will receive average to good reviews from critics and though film might start slowly on Friday due no big names but film should grow from there on riding on good reviews and positive word of mouth.

 Average Critic Ratings Predicted
3.5/5

Final Verdict:

Film will take slow start at box office but should improve owing to good word of mouth. Sushant Singh made the mark earlier this year with debut film "Kai Po Che" and Parineeti delivered good performances in "Ishaqzaade" and "Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl". This fresh pairing and interesting promos should do the trick.

This might depends totally on content and execution of interesting concept.

This might be another surprise romantic hit of 2013 after 'Raanjhanaa" and "Aashiqui 2".
