After rumours of various other actors on a possible role in Fitoor doing the rounds, Aditya Roy Kapoor has now been finalized to play a part in the flick.
Earlier ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ actor Sushant Singh Rajput was supposed to do the role. Later Siddharth Malhotra and Aditya Roy Kapoor were the contenders.
Confirming the news, Abhishek Kapoor said, “As a filmmaker
I have always invested in new and emerging talent and Aditya Roy Kapur
is right up there among the new names. I am delighted to have him on
board.''
'Fitoor' is an adaptation of Charles Dicken's classic novel 'The Great Expectations'. It has have Katrina Kaif as the female lead.
‘Fitoor’ goes on floors in March next year and will be shot in Kashmir and London.
