several films hit the screens and that was expected during a dull
weekend of pre diwali period. As expected, much hyped small budget film
''Mickey Virus'' is leading the pack as it has got the best release in 1100 screens among all 5-6 new releases.
''Mickey Virus'' looks good
in north and overall film has opening of 15% which is low but somewhat
better than other films which are complete washout. ''Ishkq Actually''
and ''Sooper Se Ooper'' met their fate with lower than 5% opening. Other
releases ''Wake Up India'' and ''Dilli Gang'' are non starters.
''Mickey Virus'' should target 1.5 cr nett at minimum for day one.
Hollywood release ''The Fifth Estate'' will lead the pack in urban centers'' high end multiplexes. Last week releases ''Escape Plan'' and ''Captain Phillips'' will also hold on the shows in addition to super hit ''Gravity 3D''.
