success of ‘Aashiqui2’ has surely worked wonders for Shraddha Kapoor.
The model turned actress seems to be on a signing spree.
She has recently bagged the lead role opposite Akshay Kumar
in producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production ‘Gabbar’. Several names
were being considered for this much anticipated remake of A Murugadoss’
Tamil blockbuster ‘Ramanna’. But Bhansali was keen on Shraddha Kapoor.

source informs, “Shraddha Kapoor was to do Mr Bhansali’s first
non-directorial production ‘My Friend Pinto’ opposite Prateik Babbar.
But things didn’t work out. He was keen to work with her at the earliest opportunity. Now it’s finally happening.”
Shraddha has also signed Shahid Kapoor's 'Haider' and another film with newbie Siddharth Malhotra.
