Madhuri Dixit fans are awaiting the release of her upcoming film, Dedh Ishqiya’.
‘Dedh Ishqiya’ director - Abhishek Chaubey explains why he chose Madhuri to play the Begum instead of Vidya Balan.
He explains,"I didn't want to make
another Ishqiya. Vidya's character had nothing left in it to take the
story forward. So there was no way that I could've included her in ‘Dedh
Ishqiya’. The role of the begum is written exclusively for
Madhuri,”informs Chaubey.
Further
talking about the story of the film, Chaubey says, "The film deals with
Naseer and Arshad going into another adventure and they are the same
scoundrels like before. And it didn't take them long to get into the
skin of their characters even though they shot for the first part four
years ago."
There
is lot of buzz regarding the intimate scenes between Madhuri and
Naseer. The story demands scenes where the two get emotionally
intimate. However, unlike Vidya, Madhuri doesn't use cuss words.
‘Dedh Ishqiya’ is a dark thriller comedy and will be releasing worldwide on January 31, 2014.
