“Mass Entertainer Films Will Die Soon” Says DABANGG Salman Khan

Salman Khan believes that the mass entertainment genre is now being overdone





Salman Khanthe original lovey-dovey ‘Prem’ of Sooraj Barjatya films became a massentertainer with films like ‘Wanted’, ‘Ready’ and ‘Dabangg’.


He now believesthat this space might die soon as it is now being overdone.


The newtrend of action packed masala entertainers began with Salman andchoreographer-turned-director Prabhu Deva with Wanted in 2009. The film didgood business and since then many films of similar genre have been made.


Salman Khancommented, "This space will die totally. Now everybody has overdone it somuch that it might die away. These kinds of films are popular but thecreativity is becoming less... It seems the same stuff is happening (every timein these films). I don't know which genre will click now..."


So will itbe the end of vehicles and people flying around for Salman Khan? Only time willtell.


For the nextyear, Salman has a varied range of films including ‘Jai Ho’, ‘Kick’, SoorajBarjatya's next and Prabhu Deva's next
