‘BOSS’ Akshay Kumar Ties Up With Classic Comic Book, ‘Chacha Chaudhary’

A special edition of the comic novel will be launched by Akshay Kumar in Delhi and be printed in English & Hindi

Akshay Kumar's upcoming film ‘Boss’ is set to tie-up with the classic comic book 'Chacha Chaudhary'. A special edition of the comic novel will be launched by Akshay Kumar in Delhi and be printed in English & Hindi.

Sharing his views, Akki said, "I have been a fan of Chacha Chaudhary and Sabu since my childhood. I feel honoured that my character of Boss will now be featured alongside them in a special comic book."

In fact, the character of Akshay in ‘Boss’ has a few similarities to 'Chacha Chaudhary'.  Like Chacha Chaudhary, Akki too helps people in trouble but in his own funny way.

Commenting about the tie-up with Chacha Chaudhary, Head of Marketing of Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, Rudrarup Dutta said, "Diamond Comics' Chacha Chaudhary is a legendary Indian character, an entire generation has grown up reading it. This special edition will have Akshay Kumar join the team to vanquish their enemies."

Boss will be releasing on October 16.
