According to industry estimates, Kareena Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Shuddhi’ is slated to have a budget of whopping Rs 115 to 150 crore easily.
‘Blue’, the underwater thriller and Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘RA.One’ were the costliest Bollywood films till date at Rs.100 crore each.
Talking about the budget of the film, Karan Malhotra, the director of the film commented, “We are trying to make a nice dramatic film but yes for sure it will be big. The costs and budgets depend upon the production house. We will try to make the movie with the best possible resources available.”
The film will be extensively shot in Bhopal. Shuddhi is expected to go on floors by December 2013.
