Stars take home big pay cheques for brand endorsements and dancing at the weddings,so why not earn a buck while shaking a leg for the Gods? This Navratri season becomesthe latest huge money-churner for Bollywood stars.

Latest addition to this club is Salman Khan and as usual he is among the topearners. Sources confirm that he recently recieved a request from Gujarat tomake an appearance at a Navratri pandal. The whopping amount demanded by Salmanbordered on approximately Rs 2 crore and the organisers were more than happy togive the actor the big pay cheque for 30 minutes of his signature abrupt Salluswagger and nothing much else!

Shah Rukh Khan still tops this chart since he works hard toentertain the crowds and is considered a crowd pleaser off-screen. The actorgets paid approximately Rs 2.25 crore to make an appearance during the festiveseason.

Akshay Kumar is another popular name in the Navratri circuit but the actorusually is busy with his more than 4 releases a year, shooting and publicity. But when he has a free spot on his schedule for an appearance, Akshay takeshome approximately Rs 1.75 crore for one.

Hrithik Roshan too is extremely selective about his appearances but gets paidapproximately Rs1.5 crore for showing up at a pandal. And once he is on stage,Hrithik owns it with his popular dance moves.

Ranbir Kapoor, who was recently referred to as the ‘new guy on the block’ bySalman is giving a tough fight to the Khans with his increasing popularity andbox office hits.

Ranbir has not yet started making the paid rounds in front of deities but hehas been inundated with requests this year and the figure of Rs 2 crore hasbeen bandied about. Only time will tell if Ranbir will bite the godly bait.
