The pre natal sex determination case against Shah Rukh Khan and his wife might fall flat
as the BMC has reported to the court that the allegations framed by
Varsha Deshpande were wrong and the couple have not violated the rules
of Prohibition of Sex Selection Act at all.
BMC’s counsel M.P Rao informed the court that the Corporation had done a thorough investigation
of the issue and has found Varsha’s claims baseless. The court had
previously sent notices to the couple as well as Dr Firuza Parikh who
was the doctor involved in the surrogacy. The High Court has adjourned the case’s hearing assigning t to a later date!

Rukh and Gauri, who have been married for over two decades were blessed
with a third child, a son named AbRam who was born on 27th May. The social activist claimed that the couple carried out tests to find out the sex of the child before his birth, which is banned by law in the country.
