SHUDDH DESI ROMANCE Drops On 2nd Friday
"Shuddh Desi Romance" took amazing opening over weekend and film managed good week one with a push from holiday benefit. Film was poised to become a big hit with a good 2nd week figure.
Film collected good 23 cr nett plus over weekend and added further solid figures
to take it beyond 36 cr nett. But film dropped badly on 2nd Friday with
only 1.23 cr nett collection. That was a drop of 70% plus and now film
has collected 37 cr nett plus.
Film will get decent jumps in next two days but super b performance
of "Grand Masti" means that SDR will not cross 6-7 cr nett over weekend
and lifetime will be around 45 cr nett and 50 cr will be a tough task.
Film will add 10 cr from satellite and other rights will further add 2 cr and that means film will make at least 20 cr profit for makers which is almost 100% return over budget.
