DAR Motion Pictures has decided to remake a Tamil film in co-production with Bejoy Nambiar. The said film is "Chennai 28", which did great business down South.

Vivek Rangachari of DAR elaborates, “This one is about the Kanga League which is huge down South. It is about gully cricket and we intend to release the film during the IPL next year.” Beejoy Nambiar directed acclaimed films "Shaitaan" and "David".
