Film is said to be 65 cr ($ 11 million) expensive affair and will be a huge losing proposition for investors.

BROKEN HORSES Is Washout Worldwide

Vidhu Vinod Chopra directed some classics in 80''s and 90''s i.e. ''Parinda'', ''1942 A Love Story'' and ''Khamossh''. But then he directed some rather average flicks i.e. ''Eklavya'' and new generation knows him more as producer for landmark films directed by Hirani.

Now he directed a full fledged Hollywood flick ''Broken Horses'' which is said to be based on his own classic ''Parinda''. Film had good release in India by Fox Star and U TV/Disney handled it for worldwide releases (except US Market).

Film collected horrible 55 lakhs nett in India over weekend which does not cover even part of its P & A expense in India. Film will finish with 75 lakhs nett lifetime. If that was not bad enough then film made even worse 6 cr nett (barring USA) worldwide.
