Upcoming film of a Turkish Production house, “Benim Dunyam” bears uncanny resemblance to the Sanjay Leela Bhansali s magnum-opus film “Black”.
Turkish production house TMC Films uploaded a trailer of their recent film, “Benim Dunyam” in first week of September. The plot, characters, costumes and the set all resemble to SLB s 2005 film “Black”. Even the snow flakes, the emotional outbursts and the blind girl are the direct inspirations.
There has been no credit or acknowledgement whatsoever to Mr. Bhansali. Also it has been confirmed that no remake rights were purchased from SLB.

This
clearly brings to a conclusion that the TMC films has simply
plagiarised SLB's creation. Bhansali is now shocked by this act of
blatant plagiarism although he not not confirmed any legal action
against TMC films yet.
But Mr. Bhansali, yours was no original
masterpiece too. “Black” was borrowed heavily from 1962 Hollywood
release “The Miracle Worker” but SLB did doff his hat to “Helen Keller” -
the original inspiration.
