date of ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’ starring Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan.
The film will now hit the theater screens early next year.
A source revealed - "The movie was scheduled to release on December 6. However, too many films are releasing around that time. Ekta and Pritish were looking for a better slot to release the film. It will now hit the theatres in early 2014."
With the decision of releasing ‘Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara’ (2013) in the subsequent week of SRK’s blockbuster release (Chennai express) backfiring, Ekta Kapoor seems to release, once bitten twice shy.
After Chennai Express outdid OUATIM at the box office, proving that a big film has negative impact on the box office collection of films released in the following weeks. Ekta now wants to play it safe and ensure her next film a longer run.
