As per the news coming in, Shirish was taking too long to edit the flick, which did not go down well with Karan Johar. ‘Ungli’, starring Sanjay Dutt, Emraan Hashmi and Kangna Ranaut, has already hit enough roadblocks. Sanjay Dutt was arrested this year and then music composer duo Salim-Suleiman walked out of the project. The project was thus delayed and hence Shirish eventually decided to leave.
Shirish is also no more working with Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Kick’. In the past, Shirish has edited films like ‘Main Hoon Naa’, ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Tees Maar Khan’ for wife Farah Khan.

times are far from over for Shirish Kunder, who has now been ousted
from Karan Johar’s upcoming project – ‘Ungli’. It is being said that
creative differences arose between Karan Johar and Shirish, which resulted in him being replaced by director Deepa Bhatia. According to a source, Shirish and Deepa will share the credits in the titles.
