Film released today and should release across 100 screens. Film had no chances at box office as its a film with very niche appeal and negative reviews will kill its chances further. Film will depend on exceptional word of mouth to survive as it has no great buzz or marketing awareness.
These days making a film has beocme easier especially the ones made with hand held camera in order to make it look like a real solid Indie film. 'Sabki Bajegi Band' is one such film produced and directed by individuals from Bollywood TRADE/media.
The film tells tale of few bunch of unbelievable losers and moron at a party where they use every abusive word possible for cliches in Bollywood films, makes fun of stars/directors and above all has no sense whatsoever with in their conversation. An aspiring filmmaker requests his group of friends to go on camera and answer some personal questions — mostly about their sex life, which he intends to compile and turn into a full-fledged film.
Performance wise not a single performer stands out as every actor hams and hams throughout. Even actress like Swara Bhaskar is pathetic, umeet Vyas, Alek Sangal and Shaurya Vyas - all are irritating.
Film has cliche premise and screenplay lacks any muscle. Film has offensive dialogues for no reason whatsover. Film has irritating background score. Art department is nonexistent and editing is poor so is camerawork .
Director Anirudh Chawla fails in bringing out some kind of comedy and basic etiquette of direction as he has written real poor screenplay. Film is bad and lack of events make it a tiring watch.
